Plant: full-bridge inverter. The fast leg is modulated at the carrier frequency, the slow leg switches once per half cycle of the reference.
PWM: the slow-leg gate signal comes from the sign of the reference, and the fast-leg duty is that gate signal plus the reference over the DC-link voltage.
Output is three-level, like unipolar PWM, but only one leg carries switching losses.
