Plant: bidirectional totem-pole PFC, same hardware as the unidirectional variant but with both legs switching at high frequency so the converter can operate in all four quadrants for active and reactive power.
Inner current loop: average-current-mode control.
Outer voltage loop: The PI controller for the DC-link voltage sets the amplitude of the current reference.
